1. Vitamin K1 is a large non-polar hydrocarbon molecule so will be fat-soluble as it can form London dispersion forces of attractions to non-polar lipids. Because it is non-polar it will be water-insoluble.

2. Source of vitamin B12 (also called cobalamin): only from certain B12 producing bacteria.
Essential mineral: cobalt.
Function: cell metabolism (especially DNA formation).
Deficiency: pernicious anaemia
